Doesnt work properly!!!

Stupid!!! I loaded this app to obtain my indoor temp as I dont feel my thermostat is working properly.
App showed outdoor temp correctly but the other temp(which I am assuming is the indoor temp) didnt even change when I took my phone into the garage. I live in Las Vegas so the garage is very hot.
Settings......only option under settings is F & C. Nothing else.
Deleted App!!!!!
